[ANNOUNCEMENT] WonderHub back online! Update on WonderHero Roadmap.

After weeks of grinding out, our team has completed the security upgrades of our WonderHub and it is finally back online. And finally now, players can deposit tokens into WonderHero to perform NFT upgrades or vice versa.

For Gate $WND token holders, we apologize for the inconvenience but there are certain issues that need to be aligned with the exchange in order to finalize a compensation solution. Our team is following closely on this matter and we do want to resolve it as soon as we can.

Having moved past this hurdle, we are gearing up for the bigger plans ahead, with a laser focus on increasing our $WND token utility and improving our play-to-earn economics.

Let’s take a look at what is coming next:

// NFT REFINEMENT

5 star NFT with only 1 stat? Players are not going to be limited by that anymore. Next up to be released on 9 May 2022, NFT Refinement is here to shake up the 4–5 star NFTs, giving players the ability to refine their existing NFTs to get better stats or to change it to their desired stat type!

To perform refinement on a NFT, players need to purchase items via our new in-game store function using $HON/$WND tokens.

// REVAMPED INFINITE WAR

This popular game mode will be back as a revamped version with better rewards at higher tiers! Players will be motivated to push their limits and aim to reach the higher tiers to get better rewards.

The general approach for the revamp is players who dropped out at low tier, win lower star NFTs & lesser rewards, while if they manage to last till the higher tiers, better rewards awaits. Infinite War will no longer be free to enter; players will need to meet a minimum player account level and to purchase a Infinite War Card (limited to 1 per week) in order to play this game mode.

And there’s more to that! There are additional features that we are looking into, such as revival, lengthening the number of stages etc. All these are to ensure Infinite War will exceed and outperform its predecessor, giving players the challenge and enjoyment!

// WONDERYIELD

If Frodo has the one ring to rule them all, WonderHero has the one WonderYield to connect them all! (Games, Gamers, Guilds, Investors & KOLs)

WonderHero’s current Yield system has helped over 50 WonderHero Guilds to scale and manage their scholars efficiently, and we envision this system to expand its capacity and play a bigger role in the GameFi ecosystem. This is a game changer that will put $WND at the forefront, where a solution like WonderYield is needed to address the existing issues faced by various GameFi parties, whilst increasing $WND token utilities.

// PROOF OF POWER

Not much has been revealed about this, besides our recent AMA, which you can watch here [link]. Proof of Power will overhaul WonderHero economics, and is designed to reward mastery and longer term players.

As always, we listened closely to our community feedback, and we know there are concerns on having to purchase tickets or pay to play in PVP, a portion of the Proof of Power that was mentioned during the AMA. Our team will definitely look into this and consider how to approach this matter to make Proof of Power an enjoyable system for our community.
